In this conference, a specific paper presentation format that puts emphasis on group discussion and interaction shall be adopted. Not only is this practice becoming more common at international research conferences, it also allows paper presenters to share the most significant concepts and key elements in their respective studies, which will instigate a healthy discussion on the trends and innovations presented, results of the research study, and recommendations to bridge possible gaps.
To this end, paper sessions will be structured as follows:
- Each paper presentation session will last for 20 minutes; 10 minutes to present and share the key points of their paper, which will be followed by 10 minutes of audience interaction.
- Each presenter can have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 slides.
- Presenter will be shown a cue card once he reaches the 5-minute mark, and another cue card showing that he has only 2 minutes left.
- After the presentation, paper presenters are encouraged to pose a question to the audience to kick off group discussion.
Each session will have a facilitator who will guide the flow of presentations, keep presenters on time, and help move the discussion forward.
All papers will be available online within two weeks of the conference. The same will also be saved in flash drives which will be part of the conference kit to be distributed on the first day of the conference.
Paper presenters may also distribute copies of the abstracts to the audience prior to actual presentation.
